Neighbourhood Watch
The Coates Neighbourhood Watch scheme is run on behalf of the Gloucestershire Constabulary Neighbourhood Watch Team. You can subscribe to a regular NHW bulletin, to keep up to date on unusual incidents, things to watch out for and so on. The constabulary number for non-emergencies 0845 090 1234 – and it is charged at local rate.

Riding for the Disabled (RDA)
The Watershed RDA in Coates was set up by Sue Bowden to offer riding facilities for disabled people. Sue is always looking for volunteers and helpers of all ages to help with the horses, so if you are interested please let her know!
Cricket
Coates has a Cricket Team – the pitch is situated behind Coates Lane Houses. Always looking for new players!
Farm Club
Farm Club hosts a number of animals, including pigs, chickens, sheep and geese, rabbits and guinea pigs. It’s a great opportunity for both children and adults to have fun at the same time as learning about the animals. It takes place every Saturday afternoon in the summer months.
Village Hall
The village hall hosts a number of activities for the village on a regular basis. It is available for hire.
