Seeking someone who can help. Last Sept visited St Matthews researching Vann VC; looking for grave/headstone of Rev Simpson; Vann's uncle. Vann lived at the Rectory with him. Vann's mother's and son's ashes were placed in Simpson's grave. Not able to find the grave which was between church and top churchyard gate yet have since then got old photo of this headstone. Can someone please check for me; has it gone or did I miss it? If still there would like modern photo of it. Can someone help me please? Happily reimburse any costs incurred.

Dear Jon, have just browsed your Coates website, not wishing to be picky, but look at the weekly calender. Monday AM and Tuesday PM is Jo Jingles, a private hire of music and movement for pre school children. On the monthly calender, what was the Horticultural Society is now the Gardening Club. Not sure there is Bingo these days. Glad you enjoyed the Woodturning, where was the course held? perhaps we can have chat sometime. Regards Brian

Coates Community Garden - Allotment
On the 1st of July we had our first meeting. There were over thirty residents who all registered their interest. During the evening Christine Clifford made a short presentation and introduced Sara Lawlor and Gabby from Kemble who told everyone about how they had gone about doing something similar. Volunteers came forward to form a team/committee to drive this project forward. Our priorities now are :
1. Find and negotiate a lease on suitable land.
2. Organise ourselves legally and financially.
3. Research fund raising.
